Inspiration
She master weaver of Thewa Thai Textile Academy draws inspiration from deep cultural roots, carrying forward the wisdom passed down from ancestors through generations. Growing up in a family closely connected to weaving, she was surrounded by looms, cotton threads, and the skilled hands of her mother and grandmother. These experiences instilled in her an appreciation for the value of local textiles, both as a way of life and as an expression of the community’s spirit.
These childhood memories became a driving force in her commitment to preserving the art of weaving while adapting it to suit the modern era. She remains devoted to traditional identity while continuously learning and experimenting with new styles and techniques.

Opinion on the Preservation and Development of Local Textiles
“I would like to see training on the use of natural dyes in fabric dyeing, along with initiatives to develop naturally dyed products for sale, generating income for the community. Most importantly, I hope the younger generation will have opportunities to learn, practice, and inherit the wisdom of weaving—preserving the charm of local textiles so they can endure and grow sustainably from generation to generation.”
